Zermatt

Zermatt is the  Matterhorn (4478 m) sport resort. Ideally located in the Swiss Alps and wind protected, spring and summer skiing are a must. 

In order to prevent air pollution, all gasoline engine vehicles have been banned. Vacations visitors need to reach Zermatt by train. Spring skiing is possible on the everlasting glacial snow at the foot of the Matterhorn, at an altitude of between 2900m and 3900m. There are 21km of well-marked and safe pistes, among them a downhill runs of 7km with a 999m difference in altitude.

This white wonderland and the magic of the Matterhorn combine to create endless opportunities for summer skiing, and a vast variety of fun sports activities.

Verbier
