Well another beautiful day in Verbier, great ski conditions. The race in the morning went well, students really showing how they progressed in their skiing, the bbq afterwards was a treat in the sun and skiing in the afternoon was a joy...excursion for the school group here tomorrow and individuals have another day on the slopes!

December 25th, and for those who asked for a white christmas, they got one!!! The snow started yesterday and didn't stop. The students were given the choice of skiing in their own groups and after a lie in, went up the mountain. The weather in the morning was pretty good but after lunch the clouds came in but beneath the treeline all was good. Here are some pics of the today and yesterday. More arrivals today and and a newweek begins, look forward to it!

Christmas Eve has arrived and may I wish you all Seasons Greetings, I hope you have had as good a year as I have. Well, here in Verbier it snowed last night and hasn't stopped, fantastic for the resort, and great experience for the kids, to ski on fresh snow! The forecast is snow all day and more over the next few days, excellent news for us here in Verbier. More info later, and photos at the end of skiing today, have a look later on!!

Forget Kitzbühel, forget the Nissan Extreme on Bec de Rosses, today was the Les Elfes race here in Verbier on the slopes of La Chaux. The students woke this morning and you could smell the tension in the air at breakfast or that could have been the eggs... the journey in the buses were a little quieter than usual, nerves were running high the thrill of competition fierce. Each ski group competed, times recorded and before it had felt like it had begun, all was over, post race calm. The results will be read out tomorrow evening at the prize giving...all in all, a good day, Father Christmas turned up and wished everybody well, ( see photos) on the slopes, the weather was kind enough for us to have our BBQ which was a pleasant change from eating inside

A great day on the mountian today, the students were treated to the slopes of Savoleyres, and over the other side of the mountain onto the slopes of La Tzoumaz, lunch was served in our own Mountain Hut, altogether a new experience. The weather was a little warmer today, certainly a pleasant change from last week. This evening we will be going night skiing! The students will be on the nursery slopes for around an hour and will be treated to some hot chocolate afterwards. Tomorrow the students have the choice of going on an excursion, Olympic Museum in Lausanne...here are some pics of today!

Well folks, another week begins here in Verbier. Only a few kids were on the mountain and the weather was kind to them on their first day! The snowboarders were on Les Esserts our nursery slopes and as you can see had a few tumbles. Instructors were very impressed with the progression and it seems that the kids will be up the mountain tomorrow or Tuesday, great stuff. We have more arrivals tonight and hopefully the airports will be ok a few students were delayed but arrived safely in the end. This week we will also be skiing for the first time this season in La Tzoumaz where Les Elfes has another resort, something a little different and good slopes for the beginner skiers. Well, fingers crossed for good weather and a good week on the slopes!

Well, another Saturday! Many departures today and sad to see so many of the students leave after having them for a week. Last night we had a prize giving for the students, various prizes were given out, most improved skier, best skier and race winners were awarded prizes, I believe a student recieved a prize for best crash of the week!! Some students skied today, the weather was fantastic and the resort was not too busy. Tomorrow we have more arrivals and the camp will be busy once again, and ready for another week in Verbier!
Many of skiers had their first day on the actual mountain today. Some of the more advanced students participated in ski racing. See a few of the day`s photos below.
