Languages are taught to children by the Verbier Language School, guaranteeing a high academic level in fun language lessons.

The teachers are young, helpful and enthusiastic university graduates. The children are placed in groups according to a test taken on the first day.

English class

As part of the language learning programme, participants receive a certificate signed and graded by their teacher.

Verbier is situated in the French-speaking area of Switzerland and French is widely spoken in and around the camp. However, since it is an international camp, English is the official language during their stay at the spring camp, kids will be able to practise the language of their choice with friends, which is undoubtedly the best way to achieve fluency in a foreign language.

Regular language programme

The regular foreign language programme includes 8 hours of language tuition a week. Children have the opportunity to learn a new language or improve their conversational skills and follow 2 hours of tuition 4 days a week.

Intensive language programme

The intensive language programme includes more grammar and writing with 15 hours of tuition a week, 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. Courses are divided into two parts with two hours devoted to grammar and writing followed by an hour of conversation practice. With a maximum of 8 children per class, boys and girls can learn in the best way.
