Sports:

The Swiss Alps region and the Geneva Lake offer a wide range of activities combining the natural elements and gravity. During the summer camp, kids can discover a whole world of new sensations such as the following sports.

Children will have a chance to discover and practice a wide range of activities offered by Les Elfes.
From mountain biking, hiking, all kind of ball games with volleyball, football, basketball, waterskiing, water tubing, kayaking, swimming, ice skating, hockey, ping pong, rock climbing, horseback riding, tennis, golf, mini golf and many more activities to offer, there will be activities proposed that will suit everyone’s tastes and will give the students the chance to try new activities or improve skills they might already have in the sports proposed.
All these activities are fully supervised by Les Elfes’ trained staff.

Kids mountain biking in Swiss Alps

Language Lessons:

As part of the Summer Camp and the education of the children, The program includes 8 hours of languages per week as part of the basic program (15h for the intensive program). The languages taught are French, English, Spanish or German and start from the very beginner level.

However, since it is an international camp, English is the official language of the camp and during their stay at the summer camp, kids will be able to practice the language of their choice with friends, which is undoubtedly the best way to achieve fluency in a foreign language.

Switzerland, Swiss Alps:

Our summer camps are located in the wonderful Swiss Alps, in Verbier or in La Tzoumaz.
Verbier is the cosmopolitan mountain setting for our international camps. A village of international renown, Verbier's splendid alpine setting on a sunny southern elevation makes it a special, privileged resort frequented by numerous celebrities and elves alike. The “Les Elfes” offers a unique experience: accommodated in two typically Swiss chalets of beautiful stone and wood construction conceived and constructed specifically for our international summer camps. Our personnel and facilities are entirely dedicated to the sports, culture and pleasure of the young people between 8 and 18 years old attending our Les Elfes camps.

Up Verbier and La Tzoumaz in the Swiss Alps

Excursions:

As part of the winter camp at Les Elfes, the children will have the opportunity to discover beautiful Switzerland and the main sights of Les Elfes’ beautiful country.
The campers will go discover the following cities:

• Lausanne, the Olympic capital and the Olympic museum and the old town of Ouchy.
• Geneva, the Old Town, the botanical gardens and the United Nations.
• The Swiss capital Bern, the Federal Parliament, the Bear’s den and the Old Town.
• Gruyere, home of the world wide known Swiss cheese, and visit the Cheese and chocolate factory.
• Montreux and the Château de Chillon.
• Vevey and the alimentarium.

Daily Schedule:

A typical day at les Elfes will happen as follow:
With an early rise at 7.30am with a large breakfast until 9.00am
From 9.00-11.00 the students will be with their language teacher, learning french, english, spanish or german.
From 12.00-1.00pm, a delicious lunch will be served
From 1.00pm to 5.00pm, the kids will practice one of the 27 sports proposed at Les Elfes Summer Camps
From 5.00pm to 7.00pm, Free Time, Games, Internet, etc.
The evening activities will take place from 8.00pm after a nice dinner with various games organized by our team, movies, ice skating, disco, etc depending the age group.

Accomodation:

Les Elfes’ chalets are two beautiful building built in wood and stone, following the typical Swiss tradition and offer charm and comfort to our guests.
Both chalets are situated in green, peaceful surroundings and only five minutes from the centre of
Verbier. The girls and boys are separated in each of the two chalets, which are completely equipped for holiday camps :

• Large rooms with two to four beds and all with ensuite bathrooms.
• Two spacious, sunny dining rooms with an open-planned sitting room and an open fireplace leading onto a south facing terrace with a barbecue.
• Professionally equipped kitchens staffed by our own chefs in both buildings.
• A library, games hall, cinema, music room (or discothèque) , classrooms, conference rooms and internet room.
• A permanently staffed and welcoming reception hall
