Ski trips for schools to Niseko – Japan
With more than 37 years of experience in the field of school ski trips, Les Elfes International opens a winter camp in snowy Niseko, Japan with the collaboration of MNK development and EdVenture camps.
Les Elfes will consider to build a campus in collaboration with MnK development.
TYPICAL WEEK SCHEDULE
Ski & Snowboard
Have your students never skied before? Or, on the contrary, are they pros at skiing or snowboarding? Les Elfes & EdVenture Niseko organize ski trips for children of all skiing levels.
SKI & SNOWBOARD
During the week-long winter ski trip to Niseko, your students will be divided into groups according to their skiing/snowboarding level into beginners, intermediate and advanced.
In each group, of a maximum of 7 students per instructor, our qualified ski tutors will teach skiing techniques for 3 hours in the morning and a further 3 hours in the afternoon.
A lunch break is provided from midday until one o'clock in one of our private restaurants.
With such a low ratio, the ski level improvement is guaranteed within a week's stay.
Our goal is for students to learn and improve their skiing techniques and snowboarding ability in a relaxed environment.
At the end of their stay, students are given a ski/snowboard certificate describing the level they have achieved.
Les Elfes ski trips are 8 days long and include 6 hours of skiing for 6 days.
Educational Component
A ski trip to Japan is a lifetime experience! Children develop soft skills, learn to be independent, and face the challenges that an unfamiliar environment, such as the mountains, may present.
Educational Component
School ski trips don't always get the right amount of attention for the educational component they provide to students, but in fact, ski trips lead to many different positive and good skills:
Social Component & Team Building
Students will be in daily contact with their fellow students. Furthermore, school groups could share the campus with another school from another country. This is one of the best ways to open your mindset to other cultures.
Team spirit within a group is enhanced by an experience 'outside the classroom'.
Sports
With schools from more than 70 countries, it is often the case that students are not familiar with the mountain environment.
Whether beginners or advanced, spending a week skiing will bring a lot to your students.
With a very low ski-student ratio of 1-6, improvement in skiing/snowboarding is guaranteed.
Personal Development
Not a holiday, but an experience that will never be forgotten; a ski trip is a must for international schools. The children will find themselves outside their comfort zone.
The different lifestyles, climates, languages, and traditions your pupils are used to will force them to open their eyes to new realities.
Mountains & Culture
Students will acquire the necessary knowledge about mountain safety and geography, for example, by experiencing the rapidly changing weather conditions typical of high-altitude environments. In addition, Les Elfes students will discover much about Japanese culture and local food.
All these elements make skiing week a valuable educational experience for the students, for the teachers who see them evolve during the week, and for the parents who will find their children in top physical and mental condition when they return from their skiing week with Les Elfes.

Japan Etiquette and Good Manners
Japan is a country built on a foundation of respect, attention to detail, and group collaboration.
There are specific rules and unspoken norms that students, teachers, and families will experience first-hand when spending time in Japan.
This unique, polite culture attracts millions of tourists to Japan, and the positive aspects are stressed throughout the Les Elfes x Mnk experience.
We know that organizing a school ski trip can take time and effort. For this reason, our administrative staff will give you all the information you need to ensure a smooth reservation process.

reviews from schools
We have now returned to school following our hugely successful trip to Verbier at the beginning of the month. I would just like to thank you and your team for such a wonderful trip. Our girls (and staff) loved every single moment, truly, nothing could have been better. The accommodation was clean, warm and cosy and Rosa was such a fantastic cook, she really looked after us and we all ate so well. The ski instructors were brilliant and built up such a rapport with our students, they helped build their confidence but still challenged them to become better skiers. The animation team were so kind, funny and caring, they made all the après ski activities fun and enjoyable. Finally Jenny was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she made sure that we were looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We have received so many lovely comments from parents and students excitedly telling us what a great time they had and they cannot wait to come again! Thank you to everyone at Les Elfes.

I would like to say thank you to you and all your staff who made our trip so enjoyable. The students have come back from the trip absolutely buzzing and keep asking about next year already.
I thought every member of staff was fantastic, the ski instructors helped to challenge and push our students, whilst Iggy and the animation team were brilliant at keeping students entertained in the evenings.
We were really impressed by you guys and how you managed to run everything so smoothly. We thought staff were very professional at all times, being really caring and supportive to our students. It was also nice to see staff encouraging students to mix. Our students defiantly made some new friends and had lots of fun.
We would like to say how grateful we are to have come to Les Elfes and had such a wonderful time and how patient you were with us being our first time. Thank you for always being about and answering all of our questions.
Thank you,
