Today was international day for all the campers, so Hola, Bonjour, Hallo, Ciao, Olá, Привет, 你好, नमस्ते, Jambo, Merhaba, Γειά σου, Cześć, שלום, Xin chào, Hello
International Day at Les Elfes is always a day for all the campers to remember. Today was a vibrant celebration of cultures, flavors, and colors. Campers shared traditional dishes from around the world filling the air with delicious aromas. Laughter and music echoed across the grounds as everyone presented their posters they had created in language lessons during the morning. The highlight of the day was the Holi festival, where campers threw clouds of coloured powder into the sky, dancing and cheering in a joyful burst of unity and celebration. After they were coloured in holi powder they were then let loose on the inflatables, a giant slip and slide, football madness, the dunk tank and lots more! It was a day of connection, fun, and unforgettable memories as the sun shone in Verbier.
In the evening the Discoveries headed out for a quiet nightime walk away from the campus through the old village and also had some fun at the park. The Explorers headed over to the sports centre to burn off some more energy playing sports altogethre. Both the Adventurers and Pioneers enjoyed a loud and fun musical game called the cube!
Overall a great way to celebrate half way through the camp!
