Yesterday at Les Elfes was our one and only International Day and what a vibrant celebration of cultures from around the world! Campers had a blast making colorful posters to represent different countries, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. The campers then had a spread of international delacacies that the kitchen had prepared and many went up for seconds and even third helpings!
The excitement continued with a joyful Holi festival, where everyone threw bright powders and danced together in a burst of color. The fun didn’t stop there—kids also enjoyed bouncing around on giant inflatables and lining up for the ever-popular dunk tank, cheering as their counselors got soaked. It was a day full of laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories! It is one of the few days in the whole session where all the campers get to do one collective activity altogether and was lovely to see how well they all got on and also supported each other during presentations and the games during the afternoon!
During the evening the Discovers ventured out on a nighttime walk down to Verbier village and through the windy paths in the countryside, they managed as always to find a park to play on and burning off the last bit of energy they had before bedtime. The Explorers went actoos to the sports centre a great facility a stones throw from Les Elfes to play fun team games and activities, whilst the Pioneers played the loud game called the Cube full of different small games, some musical, some more physical and some mental. Lots of laughter and fun had by all of them which was lovely to see.
Mid way through the session already and only a week left, time flies when you are having fun!!
