The day started with a lively breakfast at Les Elfes, where campered fueled up for a busy day of excursions and activities.
The Discoveries just left and headed to the Marécottes Zoo. They will see some authentic Swiss, alpine animals before going to the swimming pool if weather permits . The group wil then enjoy a picnic lunch with a chance to see wildlife up close. In the afternoon, our youngest group will drive to Martigny for a little shopping, before returning to camp.
The second group are having a sweet day at the Chocolate Factory, they are getting a taste of how real Swiss chocolate is made, and will get the chance to taste it all. After their chocolate sampling, the group is heading to Montreux, where they will walk past the Freddie Mercury statue and explore the beautiful lakeside town. They will also get free time to do some sightseeing and shopping before returning to Verbier.
Meanwhile, our third group are going to the Swiss Capital: Bern! Their day includes a fascinating visit to the Communication Museum, a picnic lunch in the park, and then an afternoon of shopping in the city center. They will also explore the iconic Zytglogge Clock Tower and enjoy time to discover the old town before heading back.
The evening is as full of fun as the day, and tonight our campers will enjoy dinner altoghther. After that, the Discoveries will spend the evening in the games room, playing cards, board games and bonding some more.
The Explorers will have an active night of mini golf with plenty of laughs as they try to master their swings.
Last but not least, the Pioneer group are gathering for a quiz night, testing their kowledge in a fun and interactive way.
The day promises to be very full and fun, giving each group the chance to experience new places, and creat memories together!
