What a day at Les Elfes! After breakfast, everyone split off for a day of amazing Swiss adventures.
One group drove to the legendary mountain village of Zermatt, famous for its breathtaking views and cozy Alpine streets. Of course, the real highlight was seeing the Matterhorn up close, one of Switzerland’s most iconic peaks. Between exploring the charming town, snapping photos, and picking up souvenirs, Zermatt was pure magic.
Another group set out to the Cailler chocolate factory in Broc, where the air is filled with the sweet smell of real Swiss chocolate. Campers learned all about the chocolate-making process, tasted plenty of samples, and finished their day relaxing in the lakeside town of Vevey.
The final group hopped over to Bern, Switzerland’s beautiful capital city. The highlight was visiting the Communication Museum, where everyone got hands-on with exhibits and learned about the evolution of how people connect, from ancient messengers to modern technology.
After returning to camp, everyone enjoyed dinner together at Les Elfes. The Pioneers then headed out for a fun round of mini golf before joining the rest of the camp at the legendary Disco at Loft. All the groups came together for a night of music, lights, and dancing. It was the perfect way to end a day packed with adventure, laughter, and memories. Now, as the lights go out, everyone is exhausted but happy, already looking forward to tomorrow.
