Thursday 19th – Excursion day – everyone to the chocolate factory

Today the campers embarked on a sweet and scenic adventure, starting with a delightful visit to the Cailler Chocolate Factory, where they explored the rich history of Swiss chocolate and enjoyed delicious tastings. The journey continued to the picturesque village of Gruyères, where they toured the medieval Gruyère Castle and enjoyed a relaxing lunch surrounded by stunning Alpine views. The day ended with a leisurely shopping trip in Montreux by the lake, where campers browsed charming boutiques and soaked in the serene beauty of Lake Geneva.

A well deserved excursion for all the campers especially after studying in their language lessons for so much during these two weeks.

In the evening all the campers went to a local venue hired out solely for Les Elfes for the end of session DISCO night!! The Pioneers went first to their dine out night to Borsolino’s, a local treat in Verbier where they enjoyed delicious pizzas!

Tomorrow is the last day for most of the campers who leave on Saturday, stay tuned for what is in store for them celebrating this final day at Les Elfes Session 1…
