Alongside our full-day ski and snowboard lessons, Les Elfes International offers a full program of après-ski and evening activities. Campers can choose from a range of kids’ winter camp activities including sledging, igloo building, torchlight hike, disco, ice skating, hockey, snowman building and many more. Les Elfes International winter camp Switzerland offers a lively and enthusiastic approach to snowboard and skiing camps in the Swiss Alps. From total beginners, some that have never seen snow, to young athletes training as part of their school ski or snowboard team.

The skier is able to stop effectively, demonstrate that they can slide confidently using different amounts of edge to vary their speed.

The skier is able to perform basic turns confidently on a blue slope, and is developing towards parallel turns. They can ascend confidently using a drag lift and have some experience of using a chair lift.
The snowboarder is able to perform basic “falling leaf” turns confidently on a blue slope, using both the toe edge and the heel edge but independently and is beginning to turn from one edge to another. They can ascend confidently using a drag lift and have some experience of using a chair lift.

The skier is comfortable in using consistent parallel turns on a blue slope but may use plough-parallel turns on more difficult terrain. They are confident in using a range of different lifts to ascend and can demonstrate a range of turns with different turn radii and widths.
The snowboarder is comfortable in using consistent linked edge-to-edge turns on a blue slope but may use the “falling leaf” technique on more difficult terrain. They are confident in using a range of different lifts to ascend and can demonstrate a range of turns with different turn radii and widths.

The skier can effectively ski using consistent parallel turns and is working towards developing their carved turns. They have also begun to develop their ability in navigating pistes for themselves in a resort and can confidently read a slope and ski accordingly.
The snowboarder can effectively use consistent linked turns and is working towards developing their carved turns. They have also begun to develop their ability to navigate pistes for themselves in a resort and can confidently read a slope and snowboard accordingly.

The skier can confidently ski using parallel turns on all pistes and can confidently carve on red pistes. They can also effectively navigate using a piste map and have experience in skiing itinerary routes.
The snowboarder can confidently snowboard using linked turns on all pistes and can confidently carve on red pistes. They can also effectively navigate using a piste map and have experience in riding itinerary routes.
At Les Elfes International, our winter camp in Switzerland isn’t just about skiing and snowboarding. Our winter program is packed with exciting cultural excursions and entertaining language lessons in English, French, German, and Spanish. It’s the perfect adventure for your child’s winter holidays!
To ensure we offer the best possible tuition for this winter camp in Switzerland to our students, we work in partnership with Verbier Language School to offer specialised teachers in each language for every course.
Students are grouped according to their language levels with a maximum class size of 7 students per teacher. 3 types of courses, Conversational, Intensive and Private are available in French, English, Spanish, and German.
Each of our cultural excursion days is a little different, with new options each year for those returning winter campers who are ready to see something new!
The excursions during our winter camp are not compulsory. Campers can choose to stay in Verbier and go skiing. Moreover, every week students can choose among 3 destinations.

Our winter camp evening programmes are tailored to meet the requirements of our campers. Our younger groups participate in an activities programme for the entire winter camp from 8pm until 9pm and our older groups from 8pm until 9:45pm, with bedtime at 10pm.
During the last night of winter camp, all of our campers will be participating in the prize giving night. Starting at 8 pm, our staff will be rewarding those campers who reached some particular criteria. A slideshow will be accompanying the night and entertaining the parents who have the opportunity to participate in the event.
This is also the perfect opportunity to say goodbye to the new friends met and the monitors during your time in winter camp Les Elfes.
In addition to the prizes received, at the end of the evening, every winter camp student will be handed the language certificate (if attending the language course) and the ski or snowboards level of progression certificate.

We recommend giving an average of CHF. 100. per week for your child, depending on their spending habits and age, to buy souvenirs and snacks (Meals and activities, apart from optional dine out, are included).
Student can leave their pocket money at the reception for Safe-keeping. Pocket money can be withdrawn daily from 16h00 to 17h00 (and from 08h00 to 09h00 on excursion days). An exact statement will be given to the student at the end of the camp upon request.
Having the proper ski equipment is essential for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. We provide additional winter camp equipment and clothing rental, so you don’t need to worry. All equipment can be rented at Les Elfes on the arrival day (ski pants, ski jackets, skis, boots, poles, helmets, snowboards). 1/3 of our equipment is renewed every year in order to be able to propose the newest equipment to our campers. We also provide goggle, gloves, neck buffs, ski socks and hoodies for sale directly on campus.
Have you thought about organising a holiday in Verbier and you would like your child to experience the thrill of a winter camp? If you don’t feel ready to enrol your child in a residential camp, you might consider a day skiing camp.
From the beginning of December until the end of April, from Sunday to Friday, Les Elfes International organize three day ski camp programmes of your choice: fully day (8.30-18.30), afternoon only (16.00 – 21.30) or extra long day (8.30- 21.30).
Simply accompany your children to Les Elfes International main office for drop off, and we will take care of their daily activities.
Verbier, the original home of Les Elfes, is situated in the French speaking part of Switzerland and only two hours away from Geneva. Verbier’s stunning location on a south facing plateau guarantees an exceptionally sunny climate in both summer and winter.

Our two purpose built wood and stone chalets follow the Swiss Alpine tradition and offer charm and comfort to our guests. Both chalets are situated in green, peaceful nature surroundings.
